Join us for two amazing weeks of intensive trial skills workshops, worth ten years of courtroom experience. Only the best of NITA’s faculty—from the country’s top firms and organizations—are invited to teach in this one-of-a-kind experience. Participants in the session come to sunny Colorado from all over the country, networking and serving together as counsel for two complete mock jury trials.

Using NITA’s learning-by-doing method, participants engage in a simulation of necessary courtroom skills, see trial demonstrations, and hear lectures on advocacy from NITA's experienced faculty of trial lawyers, judges, advocacy teachers, and communications experts. Participants learn to better perform direct and cross examinations, lay foundations, deliver opening statements and closing arguments, learn the right way to impeach, and do voir dire followed by instant faculty feedback and critique of live and recorded performances. In addition, all program participants will get a better understanding of jury psychology through the execution of a full jury trial, and will get to watch the jury deliberate via closed circuit TV, and then hear the jurors' critique.
