Every year thousands of children and adults find themselves involved in legal difficulties, whether it be juvenile delinquency or neglect proceedings, or a divorce. Lawyers appearing in the juvenile and family courts must have the necessary trial skills if they are to represent their clients effectively. Participants will learn how to examine adult and child witnesses on direct and cross, to impeach witnesses and to lay foundations for exhibits through "learning by doing" exercises and lectures. Following each performance, the participants will be critiqued by a faculty of experienced judges and lawyers.
- CLE Credit Comments: It is estimated that this program will provide 15 CLE Credits
