Older Adults Concerned About Saving for Medical Care

A new Commonwealth Fund survey finds that rising out-of-pocket health costs, sluggish wage growth, and erosion of retiree health benefits threaten older adults' ability to save for retirement. To offset costs, almost 70 percent of older working adults said they would support placing a portion of their earnings into an account they could use for expenses not covered by Medicare.
