County court judge finalists selected for Weld County

Governor to appoint new judge

The Nineteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission met in Greeley on July 25, 2005, to consider candidates for county court judge created by the appointment of county court Judge Marcelo Adrian Kopcow to district court. Three nominees were selected and certified to the Governor. They are: Robin Elizabeth Cochran, Julie Christine Hoskins, and Thomas James Joaquin.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has 15 days from July 25, 2005, within which to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for the Nineteenth Judicial District.
