Every year in May, the Community Action Agencies (CAAs) across the country celebrate National Community Action Month (NCAM) by highlighting the innovative ways they are opening doors and leading the way for 13 million low-income Americans each year. The celebration was established by the Community Action Partnership, the national organization representing the 1,000-member CAA network.
