Five residents apply for district court judgeship

The Fourteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission (Grand, Moffat and Routt counties) will meet in Steamboat Springs on May 15, 2006, to consider candidates for a vacancy on the district court. Five candidates have applied for this vacancy. They are Daniel W. Edwards, Granby; Shelley A. Hill, Tammy Lynne Jenson and Kerry St. James, all of Steamboat Springs; and Mary Clarkson Hoak, Fraser.

The rules of procedure for the Fourteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission require that the names of all applicants be made public when the application period is closed. The application period has now passed and public comment on the qualifications of the applicants is invited.
