Fourteenth Judicial District judge finalists selected
Governor to appoint new district court judge
The Fourteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission met in Steamboat Springs on May 15, 2006, to consider candidates for a vacancy on the district court. This vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Paul McLimans. Two nominees were selected and certified to the Governor. They are Shelley A. Hill of Steamboat Springs and Mary Clarkson Hoak of Fraser.
Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has up to and including May 31, 2006, within which to appoint one of the nominees as district court judge for the Fourteenth Judicial District.
