A Tele-class for Parents of Teens and Pre-teens
…because kids don't come with instructions!
Parents of teens often feel very isolated from one another and unsure of their changing parental role. Get support and new ideas for approaching this new time in your life.
- The first session of the tele-class will cover normal Adolescent Development and what you can expect as the parent of a teenager or soon-to-be teenager.
- The second session of the tele-class will be formatted based on questions and concerns raised by participants in the first class.
Where: Your own home and telephone
When: 2 week series
Mar 1-Mar 8 (Thursdays)
May 10 - May 17 (Thursdays)
Time: 7:00 - 8:00 pm MST
Cost: $20 single, $30 per couple - includes both sessions
Educator: Leslie Feder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Life/Parent coach.
She is the proud mother of a 20 year old son, attending his second year of college.
Leslie has taught in-person parenting classes for 13 years.
Pre-Requisites: *A landline telephone (cell phones can create unanticipated difficulties with the phone lines)
*Ability to pay the costs of a one-hour long distance telephone call (typically $5-$6), in addition to the class fee.
*Access to email. The instructor will email important information about tele-classes and how they operate, as well as hand-outs relevant to the class.
