Colorado Rule of Civil Procedure 223

The Colorado Supreme Court has adopted the Colorado Rule of Civil Procedure 223 (Pro Bono/Emeritus Attorney Rule), effective July 1, 2007. This rule allows retired and inactive lawyers to provide pro bono legal representation to indigent or near-indigent people through a nonprofit entity whose purpose is or includes the provision of such legal service. Attorneys licensed in Colorado and in other states are eligible, subject to the limitations outlined CRCP 223. Click here (MSWord doc) for info!
