Court Vacancy in the 17th Judicial District

The 17th Judicial District Nominating Commission will meet on Friday, Sept. 16, to select nominees for appointment by the Governor to the office of district judge for the 17th J.D. (Adams and Broomfield counties). The vacancy will be created by the retirement of the Honorable Donald W. Marshall, Jr. and will occur on Nov. 1, 2005. To be eligible for appointment, the applicant must be a qualified elector of the 17th Judicial District and must have been admitted to the practice of law in Colorado for five years.
