Hinsdale County judge finalists selected

Governor to appoint new county court judge

The Seventh Judicial District Nominating Commission considered candidates for a vacancy on the Hinsdale County court. This vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Larry E. Vickers. Two nominees were selected and certified to the Governor: Cynthia R.S. Grover and Alvin (Al) Lutz, both of Lake City.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has 15 days from Sept. 26, 2005, within which to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Hinsdale County.
