American Civil Liberties Union

The ACLU is a private, non-profit, pro bono providers that litigates exclusively in the areas of civil rights/civil liberties and constitutional law.

Interested volunteers should send resume and cover letter to appropriate contact person explaning interested in ACLU projects.

Volunteer Opportunities: ACLU seeks law student volunteers for legal research, writing and review of discovery materials on active cases or research for potential cases. ACLU seeks paralegal volunteers for investigative work on potential cases, organization of case materials, and client intake. Volunteer and internship commitments are flexible and usually correspond with semester long law school requirements.
