Denver Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

CASA is a volunteer organization providing the juvenile court system with trained volunteers, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, who gather information relevant to children (ages 0-18) who are involved in cases of abuse and neglect. The lay volunteer monitors progress, assesses needs, attends staffing, locates resources and reports to the court so that a knowledgeable and informed decision can be made regarding the child's best interest.

Volunteer Opportunities: CASA volunteers advocate for the child in court and other professional realms. CASA also seeks assistance with office administration duties and fundraising activities. CASA is also looking into expansion of its Board of Directors.
