Organizations and Opportunities

Many organizations statewide (and some national projects) are looking for volunteers to assist with cases, intake, research projects, advocacy, office administration tasks and other responsibilities. Check outthe organization belowor to your right and see if there is an opportunity for you!

Pro Bono Opportunities Available through the American Bar Association
The American Bar Association website lists pro bono opportunities throughout the U.S. including volunteering for hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief, a directory of programs serving children, opportunities for paralegals and pro bono and more. Go to the ABA website for a complete listing.

Legal Assistance Needed for United Way Organizations
The Mile High United Way website is an interactive site for advocates and provides an array of opportunities in which advocates can be involved. Go to the site for more information.

Colorado Lawyers for the Arts (CoLA)
CoLA is the only organization in Colorado devoted exclusively to providing pro bono legal services, mediation, and legal education to artists and arts organizations. For more information and a pro bono application go to the CoLA website.
