Court of Appeals judge finalists selected

The Supreme Court Nominating Commission met in Denver on April 17 and 18, 2006, to consider candidates for three new judgeships on the Colorado Court of Appeals. These judgeships were created by HB 06-1028. Nine nominees were selected and certified to the Governor. They are Angela Arkin, Castle Rock; Steven Bernard, Greeley; Laurie Booras, Centennial; Stephanie Dunn, Denver; Jerry Jones, Denver; Christopher Munch, Golden; Blain Myhre, Centennial; Anthony Navarro, Denver; and Diana Terry, Denver.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has 15 days from April 19, 2006, within which to appoint three of the nominees as judges for the Colorado Court of Appeals.
